The vision for starting Babysitters On Call came 10 years.ago when I was the nanny of Shae
Jhanae (Shae) . Being her caregiver came with great responsibility. Her mom worked in the
entertainment industry and was away from home for long periods due to extensive travelling in
Jamaica and overseas. As Shae's caregiver I did all the things her mom would do. I
chaperoned her to school birthday parties, extracurricular activities, school events,supervised
homework as well as indoor and outdoor activities. Reading was a part of her daily routine and
so we would do together that as well.. Whatever she did I always made sure she had fun. It was
during that time that the concept for Babysitters On Call was born. I saw the need to offer other
children the same special care, safety and fun that Shae had experienced; and for parents the
peace of mind that comes from having a service that is SAFE, RELIABLE, CONVENIENT and
CARING. A service that makes them comfortable and confident to leave their children without a
worry in the world.
Babysitters On Call offers care for children of all ages. Our mission is to provide a SAFE,
RELIABLE and CONVENIENT, childcare service. Babysitters On Call offers a wide range of
caregivers who are individually matched to the family they are most compatible with based on
The client's request. We firmly believe in the IMPORTANCE of PLAY, for this reason activities
are planned so that your child/children will LEARN and PLAY while being cared for. Our belief is
that every child matters and each child is unique, therefore their individual routine must be
followed. Our caregivers are certified, experienced childcare providers who are thoroughly
vetted and screened, to ensure the SAFETY and wellbeing of your child/children. There’s a
guaranteed standards code of ethics that each caregiver must sign and adhere to. We know that
life can be unpredictable, and Babysitters On Call provides caregivers at short notice but
generally a week’s notice is required. Childcare providers are available 24 hours per day, 7 days
